Dancing Dreams is a 501(c)3 organization that provides “dance classes and performance opportunities for children ages 3-21 with medical or physical challenges.” Through one to one pairing with teen volunteer “helpers,” dancers with disabilities learn choreography, make friends, and perform annually to a full house of family and friends.
Rolling Thunder of Long Island
Rolling Thunder Special Needs Program(RTSNP) is one of the first inclusive running clubs in the United States for all athletes. Participants train and compete in various track and field events including distance running. RTSNP provides opportunities for the entire family to become involved in physical fitness. All chapters if Rolling Thunder are members of the USA Track and Field Association.
TOPSoccer Toms River
TOPSocceris a branch of the US Youth Soccer Program that specifically invites youth with disabilities to develop positive self esteem and development through the sport of soccer. By participating in various levels of practice and competition TOPSoccer looks to foster physical, mental and emotional growth in its participants.
Mary Quinn’s Mark Foundation
Mary Quinn’s Mark Foundation was established in 2015 to keep the strength and spirit of it’s inspiration, Mary Quinn, alive. MQM was created to promote the inclusion of individuals with special needs in all aspects of their community. Through various programs and events this organization has established opportunities for individuals with special needs to grow and participate in their local communities.
